Caesarean

This was my third caesarean delivery. It's strange to walk into a hospital and experience such deja vu as I relive the same sights and sounds from my first two deliveries.

I don't know that my first choice would be to have major surgery in conjunction with the birth of a baby, but I am confident that this is God's plan for our family. And I am so so so thankful. Because at the end of the day, I was gifted with a beautiful and healthy baby. I never ever ever want to take that miraculous blessing for granted. My sweet Greta is worth every poke, incision and staple - a million times over.

  2. The miracle of birth is so amazing in every way. Even after two births of my own kids, I am still fascinated at God's work and in awe.
