Dancing Machines

Recently we got all dolled up and attended Matt's cousin's wedding - beautiful ceremony, beautiful bride, beautiful reception, and because I MUST brag on my mother-in-law, the most beautiful cake!

I know what you're thinking, those flowers are real.

No they ain't! She made every single one of them. Out of fondant! She's insane. In a really, really, really good way.
(And her cakes don't just look incredible, they taste off-the-hook good. And this is only her hobby! The woman has a full-time job, thankyouverymuch.
Man, I married well.)

Anywho, we had a great time, and by we, I mean all 4 of us. As it turns out, our kids can cut the rug. Seriously, they are hardcore amazing dancers. Watch for them on the next season of SYTYCD. Self-taught, no lessons. Unless you count the daily observation of their mother bustin' out the Running Man and lean-wit-it-rock-wit-it. We are a very gifted family.

And so what if these pictures do not capture my kids' freakin' awesome moves. You have an imagination, don't you?

  1. i'm embarrassed to tell you that i don't know what "lean wit it rock wit it" means. can we still be friends?

  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OgHtf7DQNA&ob=av3e

  3. oh man, you used the word ain't. I love that word...and I love that you used it! P.S. Henry's do = ADORABLE!

  4. Your kids are definitely awesome, but THAT CAKE. I've been in awe of every single cake she's done. She is flat-out fabulous. WOW to the ZOW.

  5. My mouth is watering looking at that cake -because as beautiful as it is, it is even MORE delicious.
I could just eat up all that cake and both those kiddos too. Love them all.
