My schnuckiputzis, 7 months old

My baby girl hit the 7-month mark on Sunday. I want to bottle her up and keep her this way forever.

As I reflect on these last few months, I'm realizing that I hardly remember my little man when he was 7 months old. It devastates me that without pictures, I can hardly remember his pudgy round head and baby button nose.

And these pictures remind me of something else. My little bear was CRUISING in his seventh month. Yikes. My dainty and all-too-precious baby girl is still perfectly content just sitting (her posture is superb, I might add). She'd rather sip breastmilk like it's high tea than shovel mashed bananas into her pie hole (her brother was scarfing down five course meals by his seventh month). And while her big brother was already exploring the appliances, my seven-month-old darling is just peachy dangling from a papoose attached to her mommy.

Yes, my schnuckiputzis are proving to be quite different in only seven all-too-short months.

Check back tomorrow to see Miss Harper Lynn at seven months old. The pictures are heavenly, just like my sweet girl.

  1. How exactly does one pronounce - schnuchiputzis? What an interesting word.

I feel terrible but I barely remember Parker at 7 months. He certainly wasn't anywhere near Henry - maybe more like Harper actually, content to be sitting and snuggling!

  2. Too funny....Emma has a cousin (all boy!) that is just two month younger. The descriptions you gave of your kids fit Emma and Micah exactly! perhaps it is simply a boy vs. girl thing?

  3. Sip breastmilk like it's high tea. I love it.

So sad I didn't get to see you today. Saw your mama instead. :)
